Director Dharanidharan’s next that has Metro Shirish and Pooja Devariya in the lead is titled as ‘Raja Ranguski’. The shoot will commence from 2nd January. The creator of the critically acclaimed films ‘Burma’ and ‘Jackson Durai’ - Director Dharanidharan and ‘Metro’ fame Shirish has teamed up for a Murder Mystery project, which has now earned the title ‘Raja Ranguski’. With a traditional Pooja, the film ‘Raja Ranguski’ that has Pooja Devariya in the female lead entered into the books of the films that are promising for the year 2017. The film festival a gigantic proposition with Music Director Yuvanshankar Raja as a composer. Popular Director Gautham VasuDev Menon tweeted the title of this film, aptly so since the genre of " Raja Ranguski" is much similar to the crime thrillers of GVM. “Our hero’s name is Raja and Our Heroine’s name is Ranguski. That’s how the title of RR (Raja Ranguski) was born. Actually the female lead in our film plays a Writer role, and when we thought of giving her a perfectly suitable name, the first spark hit in our minds was legendary writer Sujatha sir’s pet name ‘Ranguski’. Our Raja Ranguski will carry all the commercial elements that make the Audience to sit at the edge of their seats throughout the film. I am indeed excited on associating myself with the musical legend Yuvanshankar raja. His contribution to the cause of the script is a boost to any Director. I am thankful to my producer Sakthi Vasan of Vasan productions for giving me the best of technicians that will go a long way in show casing Raja Ranguski in great light ” reveals Director Dharanidharan in a confident tone.⁠⁠⁠⁠ தரணிதரன் இயக்கத்தில் 'மெட்ரோ' ஷிரிஷ் மற்றும் பூஜா தேவாரியா நடிக்கும் புதிய படத்திற்கு 'ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி' என்று தலைப்பிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது 'ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி' படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு வருகின்ற ஜனவரி 2 ஆம் தேதி முதல் துவங்குகிறது. பர்மா' மற்றும் 'ஜாக்சன் துரை' படங்கள் மூலமாக சினிமா விமர்சகர்களின் பாராட்டுகளை பெற்ற இயக்குநர் தரணிதரனும், 'மெட்ரோ' படப்புகழ் ஷிரிஷும் இணைந்து பணியாற்றும் திரைப்படம், தற்போது 'ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி' என்கின்ற தலைப்பை பெற்று இருக்கின்றது. இந்த படத்தில் பூஜா தேவாரியா கதாநாயகியாக நடிக்கிறார். மர்மத்தை மையமாக கொண்டு உருவாகும் இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்கு யுவன்ஷங்கர் ராஜா இசையமைக்கிறார். பூஜையுடன் தொடங்கி, 2017 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ரசிகர்களின் அமோக எதிர்பார்ப்பை பெறும் திரைப்படமாக உருவெடுத்து இருக்கும் ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி படத்தின் தலைப்பை, பிரபல இயக்குநர் கெளதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனன் தனது டிவிட்டர் பக்கத்தில் வெளியிட்டார்...பொதுவாகவே கிரைம் கதை களங்களில் சிறந்து விளங்கும் கௌதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனன், மர்மம் சார்ந்த கதையம்சத்தில் உருவாகும் 'ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி' படத்தின் தலைப்பை வெளியிட்டது மேலும் சிறப்பு. "எங்கள் படத்தின் கதாநாயகன் பெயர் ராஜா, கதாநாயகி பெயர் ரங்குஸ்கி. இந்த இரண்டு கதாபாத்திரங்களையும் ஒன்றாக இணைத்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டது தான் 'ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி'. கதை கரு படி, எங்களின் கதாநாயகி ஒரு எழுத்தாளர். அந்த வேடத்திற்கு ஏற்றார் போல் ஒரு பெயரை வைக்க வேண்டும் என்று எண்ணிய போது , எங்கள் அனைவரின் கவனத்திலும் உதயமானது, பழம்பெரும் எழுத்தாளர் சுஜாதா அவர்களின் செல்ல பெயரான 'ரங்குஸ்கி' தான். ரசிகர்களின் எதிர்பார்புகளை முழுவதும் பூர்த்தி செய்யக்கூடிய எல்லா சிறப்பம்சங்களும், எங்களின் ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி படத்தில் நிறைவாக அமைந்திருக்கிறது. தலைச்சிறந்த இசையமைப்பாளர்களுள் ஒருவரான யுவன்ஷங்கர் ராஜாவோடு இணைந்து பணியாற்றுவது என்பது எல்லா இயக்குநர்களுக்கும் புதிய உற்சாகத்தை தருவது மட்டுமின்றி, கதைக்களத்திற்கும் புத்துயிர் அளிக்கும். அந்த வகையில் அவருடன் கைக்கோர்த்து இருப்பது எனக்கு அளவுகடந்த மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கின்றது. திறமையான தொழில் நுட்ப கலைஞர்களை ராஜா ரங்குஸ்கி படத்திற்கு வழங்கி இருக்கும் 'வாசன் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ்' நிறுவனத்தின் நிறுவனரும், என்னுடைய தயாரிப்பாளருமான சக்தி வாசன் அவர்களுக்கு எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறேன்..." என்று உற்சாகத்துடன் கூறுகிறார் இயக்குநர் தரணிதரன்.⁠⁠⁠⁠
