The shooting of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming flick tentatively called as Thala 57 had its Bulgaria schedule completed last week. The team returned India on December 24 with the actor taking a break for Christmas and New Year with his family. The next schedule is slate to commence from January midweek after Pongal festival at Chennai and Hyderabad which will cover the last portion. The team was set at Bulgaria for quite few months and completed almost 75% of the filming at the foreign location. The main lead along with both the leading ladies Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and the baddie Vivek Oberoi joined the sets one by one. This Siva directorial is planned to wrap the shooting by February after which the post production works will run at a full swing. Touted to be a spy thriller, Ajith plays an Interpol officer who investigates a crime while Kajal plays his lovely Bengali wife and Akshara in a pivotal role involving action sequences. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, this flick will hit the screens on 14 April, 2017 for the occasion of Tamil New Year.
