Though Vikram Prabhu's latest release Veera Sivaji failed to rule the box office, he is onto the filming of his next with director SR Prabhakaran. This flick was earlier titled as Mudi Sooda Mannan but now got it changed to Chathriyan. Since the movie is an action drama, the new name seems to suit with the story better than the former title. Tweeting the same, Prabhakaran shared that the team had planned to reveal the new title on the occasion of New Year but got it leaked in the social media spaces before that. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Manjima Mohan plays the love interest for Vikram Prabhu. Aishwarya Dutta who was last seen in Aarathu Sinam plays a pivotal role along with Kavin. Chathriyan is the third directorial venture for Prabhakaran after Sundarapandian and Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal who is a former associate of director Sasikumar. The shooting for this flick is completed and the actor is said to have sported a new look with beard to blend into the role. The movie is set at the backdrop of Trichy based on real life incidents and has Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the tunes.
