The Kannada Superstar Upendra's spouse Priyanka is having her upcoming release Chinnari slated to hit the screens on December 16. Directed by debutant Lohith and produced jointly by K.Ravikumar and MMR, the movie is made bilingual in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously. It was already released in Kannada under the title Mummy and has received good response from the movie critics. Touted to be a supernatural horror flick, the child artiste Yuvina Parvati plays a pivotal role in this flick. Along with them, Aishwarya and Madhusudhan are playing supporting roles. There is no male lead as such in this flick. The 22 year old director is said to have handled the horror subject in a new style through Chinnari. Based on a true story, the plot is set in a backdrop of Goa and the story revolves around a 7 month pregnant mother and her 6 year old daughter who had her father dead in the recent past. The technical crew has Ajaneesh Loknath scoring the tunes, Venu handling the camera and the team is reported to be technically strong.
