The sequel to the 2013 action drama Commando 2 was gearing in its post production works with promotional activities taken by the team. It was earlier scheduled to hit the screens for January 6, 2017 but has been pushed two months later to March 3. Looks like the cash crunch prevailing in the market has not paved way for the smooth release of this Vidyut Jamwal starrer. Directed by Deven Bhojani and produced by Vipul Shah, hot actress Adah Sharma plays the female lead along with Satish Kaushik, Thakur Anoop Singh, Adil Hussain, Esha Gupta amongst others. On a press statement regarding the delayed release, Vipul shared that the team had worked very hard to make up its release for January but had no other choice other than to postpone it. He further added that the plot of this sequel revolves around black money issues with a strong message and hence they had found its not the right time to release it. Another reason could be stated as the demonetization since the collection might be a little low than expected. Movies like Force 2 and Rock On 2 are the ones who were short of collections due to this issue.
