Santhanam's upcoming movie Server Sundaram has wrapped up the shooting few weeks back and its makers are planning to release the film for this Pongal. Being the second film for Santhanam as a solo hero, this is the first time in the actor’s career to have a Pongal release. It is likely to clash with other big releases like Vijay’s Bhairava and Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai at the box office. Looks like the producer of the film Kenanya Films has the release of Ulkuthu for the first week of December followed by G V Prakash Kumar's Bruce Lee in the later weeks and hence decided to release Server Sundaram for Pongal. Directed by Anand Balki, Vaibhavi Shandilya plays the leading lady thereby making her Kollywood debut. The supporting cast consists of Anandaraj, Saurabh Shukla and Maya Sundarakrishnan. Santhanam is reported to play a caterer in the film and Nagesh's grandson Bijesh is making his acting debut as a catering college student. Music has been scored by the sensational composer Santhosh Narayanan and the album will be unveiled in the last weeks of December.
