Tubelight

The shooting of Salman Khan's upcoming film Tubelight with director Kabir Khan is progressing in the final schedule. The first two schedules ran hectic at Ladakh and Manali while the third one commenced from November 22 at Mumbai. Touted to be a historical war drama flick, the Manali location has been recreated at Mumbai itself as the actor is having a busy schedule ahead and he couldn't fly out to the actual location. The film's plot revolves around the 1962 Sino-Indian war and Salman Khan plays a soldier who falls head-over-heels in love with a Chinese girl. This is yet again a cross-border love story as the director's previous film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Chinese actress Zhu Zhu plays the leading lady along with Sohail Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Paras Arora, Shatrughan Sinha and many others in the supporting roles. Salman is currently juggling between the shooting of Tubelight and Big Boss Season 10 at Mumbai. Bankrolled jointly by the director-actor duo under their banner Salman Khan Films and Kabir Khan Films, it is slated to hit the screens on June 23, 2017.
