Suriya's upcoming cop action franchise S-3 is slated to hit the screens on December 16 and he is about to start the shooting for his next, Thaana Serntha Kootam with Vignesh Sivan from November 18. Meanwhile we hear news about his next film, Suriya 36 which will be directed by the talented filmmaker Selvaraghavan. The excited news was announced by the director himself in his Twitter space. To be bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, this is the first time collaboration for the director with Suriya. Earlier in September month, we heard that Dream Warrior Pictures are going to fund for Suriya 36 but took a couple of months to finalise the director. The other members of the cast including the leading lady are yet to be roped in. On the other hand Selvaraghavan is having his next release Nenjam Marappathillai by the end of this year followed by a comedy flick signed with Santhanam. As for Simbu’s Kaan, the project is kept a full stop and shelved permanently. Some reports are rounding that Pudhupettai 2 is also on cards from the director’s side to be made with Dhanush.
