Suresh Menon who is well known for Pudhiya Mugam has been off the cine field for a brief time and was known to run a restaurant at Chennai and Kochi. We now hear that he is going to make a comeback to Kollywood in Thaanaa Serntha Koottam directed by Vignesh Sivan. With Suriya playing the lead role, Suresh is roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. The yesteryear actor himself confirmed the news about his presence on board. He shares that his role is not a cameo but a lengthy one which is important to the movie's plot. Not revealing more details on his characterisation, he added that the team will start the shooting from the end of November with the official launch took place on November 4. Suresh has also signed another film, 4G starring GV Prakash Kumar and directed by newcomer Venkat, a former assistant of director Shankar. As for Thaanaa Serntha Koottam, it is bankrolled by K.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Productions who is producing Suriya's Singam 3 as well. The technical crew has Anirudh Ravichander to score the tunes.
