Ilayathalapathy’s Bhairava had released its first look teaser silently on October 27 as a pre-Diwali treat to Vijay fans. The one-minute action packed video has created new records in history crossing 20 lakhs views in less than 24 hours. By now within 3 days of its release, the views rose up to 45 lakhs i.e. 4.5 million. The numbers are expected to rise even more as it is the festival weekend. From the teaser, it is clearly seen that Bhairava is a mass commercial entertainer in lines of the actor’s previous movies like Sivakasi and Tirumala with several punch dialogues. Some reports are also suggesting that with this speed the teaser is likely to beat the records made by Superstar’s Kabali. Till date, Kabali holds the highest number of views for a Tamil movie teaser of 2 crores. Being the 60th film for the actor, it is much anticipated among the Kollywood audiences. Directed by Bharathan who has already helmed Azhagiya Thamizh Magan with Vijay, it is bankrolled by Vijaya Productions and is slated to hit the screens on January 14 in 2017.
