The sequel to Thiruttu Payale was on cards from the director Susi Ganesan along with the production house AGS Entertainments who made the first installment. The original cast consisted of Jeevan, Abbas, Sonia Agarwal and Malavika. But looks like there has been a complete change in the cast for the second one. Few weeks back the director confirmed that Bobby Simha will reprise the role played by Jeevan in the lead role while Prasanna will play the negative role in the place of Abbas. As for the leading ladies, there was no news until now we hear that Amala Paul has been signed in to play one of the female leads. She will be the pair for Prasanna, the controversial character done by Malavika. Though there is no official confirmation on the same, it is a challenging one for the lady as she has done a similar role 6 years back in her debut film Sindhu Samaveli. The shooting is planned to be predominantly shot in foreign locations for visual grandeur and will be commenced shortly.
