Power Paandi, the first directorial venture for the talented actor Dhanush has become the hot news of the tinsel town ever since its release of the first look. Featuring the yesteryear actor Rajkiran in the lead role, the shooting commenced with the team at Chennai and currently the second schedule has kickstarted at Theni. Reported to run around the life of stuntmen, the makers have roped in an interesting character to the cast. The Premam fame Madonna Sebastian who has paired with Vijay Sethupathi twice in Kollywood will be romancing with Dhanush in this film. Dhanush who will be seen as the young Power Paandi will have his love interest as Madonna and their scenes will run for around 30 minutes. Apart from them, the cast consists of Prasanna playing Rajkiran’s son, Chaya Singh as Prasanna’s pair, Nadhiya, Delhi Ganesh, Robo Shankar while director Gautham Menon making a cameo appearance. Bankrolled by Wunderbar Films, Sean Roldan scores the tunes and Velraj is to crank the camera.
