One among the Diwali release, Dhanush starrer Kodi has been undertaking several steps in promoting the film. It will be clashing with another mega release Kashmora which is made with a huge budget and hence the Kodi makers have come forward a step above in their promotional activities. The entire team of cast and crew members like Dhanush, Trisha, lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj and supporting actor Kaali Venkat are going to have a direct visit to selected districts across Tamil Nadu. They will be covering Salem, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai and Nellai districts on October 25 and 26. The team is focussing on the South districts as the movie was also extensively shot in those locales. Produced by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company, Kodi has been censored with a clean U certificate recently and is geared to release on October 28. Touted to be a political thriller, this Durai Senthilkumar directorial has got much hype from the day of release of its first look teaser and trailer. Being the first time for Dhanush to don dual roles, the cast also has the Premam actress Anupama Parameshwaran playing another female lead. The tunes composed by Santhosh Narayanan was also well received with the audio launched on October 5.
