The music director turned actor Vijay Antony’s upcoming film Saithan has been eyeing for the Diwali release. But due to the heavy competition it backed out of Diwali race and the makers have finally decided on the release date. Produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, Saithan will open to screens on November 18. It is made bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and will release on the same date in both the languages. It has also got a title ‘Bethaludu’ for the Telugu version. The team had the first look and teaser revealed recently and the music composed by the actor himself will be launched shortly. Arundathi Nair is the leading lady paired opposite Vijay Antony this time. The supporting cast consists of Charuhasan, Meera Krishnan, Y.G.Mahendra, Siddhartha Shankar, Kitty, Kamal Krishna, Aadukalam Murugadoss and Vijay Sarathy among others. Touted to be a psychological thriller, Vijay Antony will be playing a software developer who suffers from schizophrenia while Arundathi plays his wife. Looks like the actor has sported different looks in this film and the actress also has a meaty role for the storyline. Directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, the shooting took place at locations near Chennai, Palakkad and Orissa.
