The efforts made by many directors in bringing the Premam actress to Tamil cine industry have failed despite several negotiations. One thing can be said sure that though she did not make her debut, she is much popular among the Tamil audiences. The latest news we hear that she has been approached by director Selvaraghavan to play the female lead in his upcoming film. This yet to be titled flick will have Santhanam playing the male lead. So will Sai Pallavi nod her head to romance with Santhanam have to be wait and seen. Touted to be a romantic film in lines of Selvaraghavan's films, it will have a tinge of the director's touch in it. The official news of Sai Pallavi’s presence on board is awaited from the team though. Presently Selva is working with his next release Nenjam Marappathillai which is in the post production stages. Santhanam is also shooting for his next with director Sethuraman from last week but will shoot with Selva's film simultaneously in the forthcoming month. Sai Pallavi is also shooting for her Telugu debut film. Fidaa directed by Sekhar Kammula in which she is paired opposite Varun Tej.
