Shifting the professions in the cine industry has become the trend. Directors have come to be featured on screen in special appearances and the musicians are also venturing into acting. The latter trend set by G.V.Prakash Kumar is followed by Hip Hop Adhi. Adhi was making appearances in his music videos and with ‘Meesaya Murukku’, he is entering the stage full fledged as a hero. This flick marks not only his acting debut but also his first direction. Sundar C will be bankrolling this film under his home banner Avni Movies. In fact, Adhi has composed tunes for Sundar C's movies like Aambala and Aranmanai 2. The music director is donning multiple hats for his maiden venture as screenplay writer, dialogue writer, lyricist as well as scoring the tunes. Touted to be a college love script, it is a commercial entertainer with comedian Vivek in a pivotal role. The shooting with the schedule of 45 days has been completed. A couple of songs are alone left to be shot yet. The team has even released the first look teaser of the film which has received good reviews. The music composer is in praises for Sundar C that he has immediately given a nod to produce his film after 5 minutes of script narration. The new age director also shares that he has roped in fresh faces for his film. The cast and crew members were scouted through social media sites through which Aathmika is playing the female lead opposite him.
