Atharvaa's Imaikkaa Nodigal directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony fame is in the casting process roping in important celebrities on board. Few weeks back we reported that Nayanthara will be playing the female protagonist in a crucial role as the hero’s elder sister while the Tollywood actress Raashi Khanna will be his love interest. The latest news is that the acclaimed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap who was last seen playing the villain in A.R.Murugadoss’s Akira is approached to play the negative role in this flick too. Looks like the director has given a green flag to join the team. His characterisation in Akira was much praised by the tinsel town and through this film, Anurag is entering the Tamil cine industry. The team is proud to have the Bollywood maker with them. He will be playing a character named Rudra with thrilling elements never seen before in Tamil movies. It is notable that this movie's director Ajay has worked as an assistant director with A.R.Murugadoss in his films like Thuppakki and 7Am Arivu from which the link has followed. Produced by C.J.Jayakumar of Cameo Films, the shooting will commence shortly from this month.
