Dhanush who is very active in his social media sites took to reveal that his upcoming political thriller Kodi will have its audio launch on October 5. This Dhanush-31 has the album composed by the Kabali sensational musician Santhosh Narayanan. Few days back, the first look of the film showing the stunning twin avatars of the actor was revealed. It is the first time in the actor's career to don dual roles. Directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Kaaki Sattai and Ethir Neechal fame, this flick is produced by Vetrimaaran under the banner Grass Root Film Company while Madhan under Escape Artists Motion Pictures is presenting the film. Kodi has two leading ladies. Anupama Parameshwaran as a village girl pairing with good Dhanush and Trisha as a politician in a role with negative shades. The supporting cast consists of Kaali Venkat, Subbu Panchu, Vinu Mohan and Sathish along with Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar in a pivotal role. The technical crew has Praveen KL to edit the cuts and Venkatesh S to crank the camera. It is scheduled to hit the screens for this Diwali on October 28 and is likely to clash with Kashmora and Kaththi Sandai at the box office.
