Rekka starring Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon has been gearing to hit the screens on October 7 for the Ayudha Pooja 3 day weekend. The post production works are underway and the album composed by D.Imman is scheduled to be unveiled on September 25. A single track ‘Virru Virru’ has been released on September 20 in YouTube which had the video of making of the song. Directed by Rathina Shiva of Vaa Deal fame, this action masala is produced under Common Man Productions banner. The shooting was completed in regions around Kumbakonam and Madurai while a romantic song was recently shot at Bangkok with the couple. We hear that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as an advocate and a die-hard fan of actor Sivakarthikeyan. The supporting cast consists of Kishore, Sathish, Shalu Shammu, veteran director KS Ravikumar, Nasser, Sriranjani, Soundararaja and many others. Harish Uthaman who was last seen in Thani Oruvan will be seen in a pivotal role. Kabir Singh, the baddie in Ajith Kumar's Vedhalam will be playing the antagonist in this flick too.
