Sathuranga Vettai, the black comedy heist which released in 2014 is one of the most admired con films in Tamil cinema. Directed by newcomer Vinoth, his first film was itself very much praised and now he is onto making the sequel to it. The first installment featured Natarajan Subramaniam and Ishara Nair in the lead roles. Now the second part is being planned to be made in a grand level roping in the top actors of Kollywood. Sources suggest that Arvind Swamy who gave a comeback with Thani Oruvan has been approached with this script to play the male lead. Looks like he has nodded positive and the movie is likely to run on floors shortly. We also hear that Trisha will be pairing with him for the first time as the leading lady. Earlier it was rumoured that the milky beauty Tamannaah will get to pair with Arvind Swamy. The latest news we hear now is Trisha. The actor-director-producer Manobala who produced the first part will be bankrolling the second installment too. Arvind Swamy is currently busy working with Bogan in which he is sharing the screen space with Jayam Ravi once again and after which he will start shooting for Sathuranga Vettai 2.
