The 33 year old British born model cum actress, Katrina Kaif is one of the top attractive celebrities of Bollywood with highest pay. Her recent film Baar Baar Dekho with Siddharth Malhotra has been successful in the box office and to relish another happiness, the lady has been awarded with the prestigious Smita Patil Memorial Award. The Award will be given to her during the Global Award ceremony to be held on September 19 to honour her contribution to the Indian cinema. Niranjan Hiranandani, the Chairman of the Priyadarshni Academy shares that the jury of the Award has decided on Katrina Kaif unanimously. Indeed the past years had been golden period for the actress with back to back hit movies to justify her contribution. The Priyadarshni Academy is an NGO which awards Bollywood heroines in honour of the late actress Smita Patil. The previous recipients of this award include Tanvi Azmi, Sridevi and Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Tabu, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra and Katrina joins them this year.
