Udhayanidhi Stalin's project with director Gaurav of Sigaram Thodu fame has been commenced officially with a small pooja from September 15. The team of cast members, producers and the director were present during the pooja. Interestingly this venture is not bankrolled by Red Giant Movies but Lyca Productions house is funding this flick. It is their 9th production venture in Kollywood who entered Tamil cine industry with the production of Vijay’s Kaththi. Touted to be an action thriller, Manjima Mohan whose debut film Achcham Enbathu Madamaiyada is still awaiting to release will be playing the love interest for the Manithan actor. This yet to be titled project also has Soori in a supporting role as the hero’s sidekick. The technical team has Praveen KL to edit the cuts, Arvind Singh of Demonte Colony fame to crank the camera. D.Imman has been roped in to score the tunes. Videsh is responsible for art direction while Dhilip Subbarayan will direct the stunt sequences. Meanwhile Udhayanidhi is simultaneously shooting for director Ezhil's 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' which unveiled its title recently.
