Nivetha Pethuraj who had been acclaimed for her performance in her debut film Oru Naal Koothu has bagged a biggie as her second film in Kollywood. She is signed in to play the leading lady in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s next directed by debutant Thalapathy Prabhu. He has previously worked with director Vikraman and Ponram as assistant. Bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films, the shooting is likely to commence from September 19 at Theni. The team is currently scouting for locations in the Southern districts. Touted to be a fun filled family entertainer in lines of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, the producer turned actor had been lucky to get to romance the former Miss India UAE. In fact he had been getting chances to pair with top actress like Hansika, Nayanthara and Amy Jackson in his previous films too. This movie will have Soori playing the actor's side kick and director Parthiban in a pivotal role. D.Imman has been roped in to compose the tunes. In the meantime, Udhayanidhi will be simultaneously working with director Ezhil for a comic entertainer.
