National Award winning director Manikandan has been receiving praises for his recent release Kutrame Thandanai. This crime thriller is one of its kind which gave a unique recognition especially to the protagonist Vidharth. Manikandan will be having immediate release of his next Aandavan Kattalai shortly as it is also progressing in the post production stages. It was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on September 23rd but looks like the release will be postponed to October due to the prolonged post production chores. Meanwhile the music scored by K will be launched by September 12. Produced by Gopuram Films, the film will deal about fake passport scams in a light manner. Starring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh in lead roles, the supporting cast consists of Pooja Devariya, Nassar, Vela Ramamoorthy, R.N.R.Manohar and Cheenu Mohan. Currently the dubbing works are going on and Ritika Singh has dubbed per portions in her own voice. Her role is not a typical heroine and a natural one like in Irudhi Suttru.
