There had been reports rounding that Dhanush will be making his directorial debut shortly and an official announcement on the same has come from the horse's mouth itself. The actor cum producer had taken taken it to Twitter to confirm the news that he will turn to a director with his debut film Power Paandi. Interestingly the yesteryear actor Raj Kiran will be playing the main lead in the film. It is notable that Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja also made his directorial debut with Rajkiran in 1991 in En Rasavin Manasile and hence it has become a sentimental factor for them. Further it is the 25th year for Raj Kiran in cine industry and hence the whole team is excited about it. Produced by Wunderbar Films, Prasanna has been roped in to play Raj Kiran's son whose role is quite odd and unusual. Speaking about the film, it is a fun and adventurous one and the first look of it will be unveiled on September 7 at 9 A.M. at Dhanush's Twitter page. The shooting is likely to commence from the same date at Chennai. Sean Roldan has been signed to compose the tunes while Velraj will be cranking the camera.
