Kadavul Irukaan Kumaaru is one among the upcoming flick from GV Prakash Kumar directed by Rajesh of SMS and VSOP fame has completed the shooting and is progressing in the post production stages. Recently the makers have decided to release the film for this year Diwali on October 29 to cash in as much collections as possible. Bankrolled by T.Siva under Amma Creations banner, GV has got to romance with Nikki Galrani and Anandhi this time. The director's long time associate Santhanam is not a part of the film while RJ Balaji will be seen as the actor's sidekick. KIK is a typical Rajesh film and touted to be dark comedy based on a road trip from Chennai to Pondicherry and will focus on the life of both GV and Balaji. The supporting cast consists of Thambi Ramaiah, Motta Rajendran, Manobala, Robo Shankar, Singampuli and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. This is the first time for the actor to have a Diwali release in his acting career. Previously the film was scheduled to hit the screens for Pooja holidays. But there were major releases ahead on the date like Sivakarthikeyan's Remo and Vijay Sethupathi's Rekka. Hence the distributor 7G Siva has postponed it to open to screens on Diwali.
