Rekka starring Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles has completed the final schedule of shooting and is ready to hit the screens on October 7 for the Pooja holidays weekend. The movie is a commercial entertainer which is expected to have a good run during the festival weekend. Directed by Rathina Shiva of Vaa Deal fame, this flick is produced by Ganesh under the banner Common Man Productions. The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Rekka is bought by Sivabalan Pictures. The music has been scored by D.Imman and the album is likely to be launched by the end of this month. The supporting cast consists of Sathish, Harish Uthaman in a pivotal role, Kabir Singh as the antagonist along with director K.S.Ravikumar in an important role. The story is set in a backdrop of Madurai and Kumbakonam while Vijay Sethupathi portrays the role of an advocate and Lakshmi Menon as a kidnapped girl.
