The three day Independence Day weekend was another advantage for it as it was able to garner solo collections as much as possible. According to reports, the three day collection was alone Rs.15 crores including the Telugu states, Tamil Nadu and the rest of India. The movie had done a good business at Chennai this time, thanks to the director Maruthi to have delivered a good family drama. We hear that this film has become the highest grosser in the actor's career as far as his solo films are considered. Also other success factors include the actor's characterisation as a fun loving cop along with the glamorous actress Nayanthara as his lovelady. Their duo had been successful for the past three films and welcomed very much by the Tollywood fans.
