The Premam actress Sai Pallavi who had missed the Maniratnam's flick opposite Karthi has bagged another biggie in Tollywood opposite Varun Tej. Directed by Sekhar Kammula the project has been titled as Fida. Dil Raju is producing this film which is touted to be a romantic love story. The movie will mark the debut of Sai Pallavi to Telugu cine industry. The official launch of it took place on August 5 at Banswada in Nizamabad with the team where Dil Raju and Sai Pallavi gave the first clap. The Telangana's Agricultural Minister Srinivasa Reddy had also graced the function and he switched the camera on. The director known for movies like Happy Days and Godavari shares that he haven't done any full fledged romantic movies since Godavari in 2006. He is with the plan to try it with the modern couple of Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi. In fact the director had been working on this script for more than a year. The movie's plot revolves around the love between the boy from US and the girl from Telangana. It is a sensational film with the shooting scheduled to start from August 5 for 40 days at nearby locations. The next schedule is likely to happen with the actor at USA. The technical team consists of Shakthi Kanth for music, Vijay Kumar for cranking the camera and Marthand K.Venkatesh for editing the cuts.
