The shooting for Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Rekka is in the final schedule. The team has planned to start the last schedule at Bangkok for a song with the leads. Directed by the Vaa Deal director Rathina Shiva, the movie features Lakshmi Menon opposite the Iraivi actor for the first time. The supporting cast consists of Harish Uthaman who was last seen in Thani Oruvan, Kishore, director K.S.Ravikumar and Sathish to crack humour. Bangkok has always been the favourite destinations for Kollywood directors to shoot romantic songs with the latest one being Halena in Iru Mugan. The rest of the film was shot at Madurai and Kumbakonam regions. Produced by Common Man Productions, Rekka is slated to hit the screens on October 7 for the 3-day Ayudha Pooja weekend. Meanwhile the music scored by D.Imman will be launched in the forthcoming months.
