Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 has been delayed in its release for a long time as the movie got into several financial issues. The recent news is that a popular production house is in talks with the movie's producers to acquire its theatrical rights. It’s none other than Lyca Productions, a London based production house who are now funding for top actor's films in Kollywood. They had approached the Aascar Films to buy the rights and if everything goes well, Vishwaroopam 2 is likely to hit the screens for this year Diwali. Directed by Kamal Haasan himself, he has shot more than half of the film during the shoot of its prequel Vishwaroopam in 2013 itself and only several patch works are left to be shot. Also a song has to be filmed which were all halted due to the producer's financial problems. The actor is presently at the hospital undergoing a leg surgery and he is expected to work on it after recovery. The movie's cast consists of Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapoor, Zarina Wahab, Anand Mahadevan among others.
