The Pizza actor had been doing many films recently and one among them is Rekka directed by Rathina Shiva of Vaa Deal fame. The shooting has already been completed and the post-production works are underway. Produced by the Orange Mittai co-producer B.Ganesh under Common Man Productions, the makers have now planned to release this flick on October 7 for Pooja holidays. This weekend has already been occupied by two other mega films, Sivakarthikeyan's Remo and Jiiva - Kajal Agarwal's Kavalai Vendam. It was in 2013 when Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi had a clash when Ethir Neechal and Soodhu Kavvum released on the same day. The filming has been done at places across Tamil Nadu in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Karaikudi and Kumbakonam. Touted to be a masala entertainer, Lakshmi Menon pairs with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. Bollywood actress Kabir Singh who played the villain in Ajith's Vedhalam will play the antagonist. Harish Uthaman of Thani Oruvan fame will also be seen in a pivotal role. Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a diehard fan of Sivakarthikeyan and a song has been shot as the actor celebrating the first day show of Kaaki Sattai.
