Udhayanidhi Stalin who was known to do films with Santhanam as sidekick is moving the trend towards Soori now. His upcoming movie with director Gaurav Narayanan of Sigaram Thodu fame will have Soori playing a supporting role besides the sensational Malayalam actress Manjima Mohan playing his love interest. We also hear that Soori's characterization will be different this time unlike his role in other movies. The director also shares that he will not be doing a conventional hero's friend role by just cracking a joke from time to time and leaving. Rather this role would give him a character of a lifetime and be an interesting one for the viewers too. The team further hinted that there are still a couple of pivotal characters to be roped into the cast. The music composer also needs to be finalised in a week's time before it runs on floors by the end of July. This venture will be funded by the Lyca Production house. Apart from this flick, the Manithan actor also has an untitled project signed with Sri Thenandal Films and his dual hero subject with Suseenthiran has been temporarily shelved.
