The Kaaka Muttai director Manikandan is currently working on his third film Aandavan Kattalai featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh in the lead roles. A recent addition to the team is Pooja Devariya in an important role sharing the screen space with them. The theatre artist turned actress was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi opposite the same actor and it is the second time for her to pair with Vijay Sethupathi. Pooja was also part of Manikandan’s second film Kutrame Thandanai which has Vidharth and Aishwarya Rajesh in main roles. In Aandavan Kattalai, her role would be again pivotal as stated by the director. Touted to be a romantic comedy, the movie also has theatre actor Shantha, Nassar, RNR Manohar and Vela Ramamoorthy, Yogi Babu in supporting roles. Manikandan will himself will be cranking the camera while K scores the tunes. Anu Charan of Kirumi fame will edit the cuts. The actress shares from her side that there is a lot of her real nature reflected in her role. The shooting commenced on March 10 with other members had already been completed. The story revolves around the problems faced by a common man during the issuance of passport.
