Director Seenu Ramasamy who is waiting for the release of his two movies with Vijay Sethupathi, Idam Porul Yaeval and Dharma Durai has moved on swiftly to his next. The director had taken it to a bigger level this time and had approached Mammootty to play the protagonist in his film. The Malayalam actor had even listened to the script and was willing to be a part of it once he wraps up his current projects back at Mollywood. This would be the actor’s second Tamil film in this year as he has already signed another project Peranbu with director Ram. Presently he is shooting for a Malayalam film Thoppil Joppan and few sources suggest that later he himself will be announcing the launch of this venture at Chennai. On the other hand, Idam Porul Yaeval has been delayed in its release with no developments on its release date. Dharma Durai is likely to hit the screens this Independence Day weekend by August 12 and official news can be expected from the team shortly. The movie features 3 leading ladies Tamannaah, Srushti Dange and Aishwarya Rajesh for Vijay Sethupathi. Produced by R.K.Suresh, Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored his magical tunes for this flick.
