The Naanum Rowdy Thaan director Vignesh Shivan has recently penned a song for a romantic flick Yaakkai. Being a musical sensational film starring Krishna and Swathi in the lead roles, Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose the tunes. Interestingly, the song has been crooned by actor Dhanush and Yuvan-Dhanush-Vignesh Shivan combo is much looked upon. The song’s lyrics comes as ‘unakku wait panni ...en body weak aaguthu...basement shake aaguthu ...heartu break aaguthu’ has been lauded by the makers to be apt for the present generation lovers. Vignesh Shivan is known for working as lyrics writer in movies like Vanakkam Chennai and Yennai Arindhaal with the recent one 'Thangamey' in Naanum Rowdy Thaan. The film is directed by Kulandai Velappan who is previously known to have helmed a crime thriller Aanmai Thavarael. Produced by Muthukumaran under Prim Pictures banner, a single track ‘Nee En Kangal’ composed by Yuvan and lyrics penned by Na.Muthukumar has already become a chartbuster which was released for this year’s Valentine’s Day.
