The long awaited Thala 57 has been officially kickstarted with a formal pooja at the Shirdi Saibaba Temple at ECR, Chennai on July 6. The team including director Siruthai Siva, Anirudh Ravichander among others were present at the occasion. The technical crew consists of Anirudh to score the tunes and Anthony L.Ruben for editing, Vetri for cinematography, Kabilan Vairamuthu for penning the lyrics and Anu Vardhan for costume designing. Few sources close to the team shares that the shooting will begin from this month itself before July 16 with the first schedule to be shot at Bulgaria. As reported earlier, Ajith will be playing the role of an International Investigative Officer and the the team is presently hunting for the leading lady. Once it is fixed, they are expected to go on floors. The top contender for Ajith's lovelady is Anushka as of now who had already paired with him in Yennai Arindhaal. This is the third collaboration for the actor with Siva after their successful hits Veeram and Vedhalam. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the shooting for the action flick will be shot at several locations across Europe.
