The third generation actor Vikram Prabhu who has done so far 6 movies in Kollywood has started his own production house by the name 'First Artist'. The production house's maiden venture would be 'Neruppu Da' featuring himself as the main protagonist. He will be playing the role of an ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth and a fire officer. Even the title has been inspired from the popular hit song from Kabali. The formal pooja for the launch of his production banner was done on July 6. Kabali producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu, AVM Saravanan, the actor’s father Prabhu and other known dignitaries of Kollywood were present during the launch. This first project would be produced by First Artist in collaboration with Chandaraa Arts and Cine Innovations. To be directed by Ashok, a former associate of Romeo Juliet director Lakshman, the Darling actress Nikki Galrani would be playing the female lead opposite the actor. Sean Roldan of Mundasupatti fame will be rendering the tunes.Ponvannan, Motta Rajendran, Aadukalam Naren, Nagineedu and Madhusudhan Rao are part of the supporting cast.
