This week is going to bring three good news to Superstar’s diehard fans. The movie had been taken to the Censor Board on June 29 and the run time was locked to be 2 hours and 32 minutes. The complete censor details along with the announcement of the release date is likely to be unveiled by this week, most probably for Ramzan on July 6. There is one more excitement waiting for the audiences. The video teaser of the addictive Mayanadhi song will also be released along with it. The third song of the album composed by Santhosh Narayanan has been receiving positive response since the audio launch. On the other hand, we hear that Tamil, Telugu and Hindi theatrical rights are all sold for attractive prices to Fox Star India. Regarding the release date, the overseas distributors have been told that the movie will open to screens on July 22. The Malaysian distributor Malik Streams has started to fill the country with hoardings mentioning July 29 as release date. However the producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu will be making official announcement on the same shortly.
