Pasanga 2 which hit the screens by the end of 2015 was a very good movie which was enjoyed by all the children as well as by many parents. Directed by Pandiraj starring Suriya and Amala Paul, this movie was an example of how the parent-child relationship should be. Following its success in Tamil the Telugu film industry is keen on releasing it in Telugu titled Memu. The film will be releasing on July 8 as the first week of July has three major films lined up. It was initially scheduled for July 1 and is not being remade rather it is a dubbed version of the Tamil film. Jointly presented by Studio green and Suriya’s 2D entertainment, the film is produced by Madhusudhan Reddy. The producer says, "This is a film every parent should watch with his/her kid. The Tamil version received many accolades and praises which prompted the makers to release it in Telugu. It has an interesting story which most of the kids would enjoy. The film co-stars Bindhu Madhavi, Karthik Kumar and Ramdoss. Music is composed by Arrol Correli.
