Actor Dhanush is very much selective in choosing the scripts both for acting and producing under his home banner Wunderbar Films. Oka Manasu starring Naga Shourya and Niharika Konidela which released in June 24 has come into his attention recently. Directed by Rama Raju Gottimukkala and produced jointly by Madhura Entertainments and TV9, he is in talks with the makers regarding buying it's remake rights. The negotiations are in the nascent stages as there is only inclination from him and not yet confirmed whether he had bought it officially. Niharika, the niece of mega star Chiranjeevi who made her Tollywood debut in Oka Manasu has also expressed her interest in entering Tamil cinema. Also we do not know if Dhanush would be acting in it or will be producing the remake. Some sources report that he will be reprising Naga Shourya’s role as a political activist. Any updated news will take few time to reach our ears. Meanwhile the actor is busy with Vetrimaaran as the filming of Vada Chennai has just been kickstarted.
