Director Venkat Prabhu is busy shooting the sequel to his coming-of-the-age sports comedy Chennai 620028. The talented director is well known to manage an ensemble cast in his movies like having over 11 actors on board. In the second installment, he has decided to rope in 5 directors for special appearance instead of actors for a change. Those 5 directors include Venkat Prabhu's former associate Venkatesh Ramakrishna of Nalanum Nandhiniyum fame, Vadacurry director Saravana Rajan, Kanimozhi maker Sripathi Rangasamy, K.Chandru of Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham fame and the Kaaval movie director R.Nagendran. All these directors are Venkat Prabhu’s good friends and worked as assistant with him in many movies. They will be making cameo appearance in the film’s climax scene. It is first-of-its-kind attempt in Tamil cinema and Venkat Prabhu is doing so as a token of friendship in his real life. The filming of the climax will take place in a set of an outdoor auditorium erected for the same. The other members of the cast are retained from the prequel and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music.
