Nagarjuna's upcoming film Om Namo Venkatesaya to be directed by K.Raghavendra has got a launch date to begin the principal shooting. The producer Mahesh Reddy who funded for Shirdi Sai has announced to launch the film on June 29. The movie is about the legendary devotee of Lord Venkateswara, Baba Haathi Ram Ji and will run in the backdrop of Tirumala forests. Hence a grand set of a forest has been erected at Annapurna Studios for shooting. Also there will be a lot of CG involved in the filming. Nagarjuna will be seen doing an author backed role in the film. The female lead is confirmed to be Anushka who will be pairing with the actor along with Pragya Jaiswal and Vimala Raman in pivotal roles. Om Namo Venkatesaya will be a devotional film with a mix of facts & fiction and Anushka will be playing the role of a sanyasin. The songs composed by MM Keeravani has already been recorded in April. It is notable that the combo of Nagarjuna, K.Raghavendra Rao and MM Keeravani has come together for the fourth time after their successful projects Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai.
