Actress Dhansika who is awaiting the release of Kabali in which she had played a powerful role has signed another major film. Titled as Rani, she will be playing the titular role in the film. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja will be scoring tunes for it and the rest of the cast and crew members are yet to be finalised. This film is considered by her to be another important film in her career. Apart from this, her performance out of her role in the Pa.Ranjith directorial is much looked upon. Also she will be seen in Kaathadi in which she has played the police officer role for the first time. She completed the shooting for the film recently. The diva has even risked herself to shoot for the role by performing Silambam and martial arts it it without a body double. Directed by Kalyan of Kadha Solla Porom fame, Kaathadi is about the cop rescuing a kidnapped girl. The Paradesi actress has also signed a multilingual film Kitna with Samuthirakani which has postponed its filming due to her commitment to Kabali. Her another film Kaala Koothu with Prasanna and Kalaiyarasan and Srushti Dange is also pending to release.
