Actor Vimal who had earlier 2 releases, Mapla Singam and Anjala in this year has signed his next with director Boopathy Pandian of Pattathu Yaanai fame. Titled as Mannar Vagaiyara, the Trisha Illana Nayanthara actress Anandhi will be pairing with him as the lovelady in this entertainer. The team had been scouting for the female lead for a long time and finally confirmed with the Kayal heroine. This movie is touted to be a commercial one with high dose of comedy in the lines of the actor's previous movies. The cast also consists of other well known actors like Prabhu, Karthik Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Nassar, Jayaprakash, Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu and Robo Shankar. It is notable that Robo Shankar's role in his latest film Velainu Vandhuta Vellaikaaran has received good response from the audience. The shooting of the movie will commence from June 20 at Chennai. Bankrolled by Arasu Films, the production house also has another release, Adra Machaan Visilu featuring Shiva and Powerstar Srinivasan on June 24. Escape Artists Motion Pictures was previously announced to produce the Vimal starrer but eventually they had handed over to Arasu Films.
