Rajinikanth’s Kabali which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on July 1 has been delayed in its release date due to the prolonging post production works. The producer of the action commercial, Kalaipuli S.Thaanu has decided the release date to be July 15, the mid weekend of July. So now the first 3-day weekend of July is left vacant attracting other movie makers to release their projects. The first one to eye on the date is the horror comedy Dhillukku Dhuddu starring Santhanam in the lead role. Directed by Ram Bala of Lollu Sabha fame and produced by Sri Thenandal Films, the major production house is trying to make cash by release it on the stipulated date. Earlier this horror comedy was planned to release on June 24 but this one too got delayed by one week. S.S.Thaman who scored music for the actor’s Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is composing tunes for this flick too. The movie has Shananya playing the female lead along with Karunas, Anandaraj, Lollu Sabha Manohar, Singamuthu, Saurabh Shukla and Mottai Rajendran in the supporting roles. This flick is a spoof on horror films with the actor playing ghostbuster and a happy-go-lucky person named Kumar. The story runs around Kumar and a North Indian family in which Saurabh plays a marwari financier and Shananya as his daughter.
