Arun Vijay's 23rd film titled as Kuttram 23 is progressing in its shooting with over 80% already completed. The team has roped in recently Vamsi Krishna who played the baddie in Thadaiyara Thaakka against Arun Vijay as the villain in this thriller too. Directed by Arivazhagan of Eeram fame and produced by the actor’s In Cinemas Entertainments, Mahima Nambiar of Sattai fame will be pairing with Arun. Arun Vijay will be seen as the cop for the first time in this medical thriller based on writer Rajesh Kumar’s novel. The shooting is taking place at Chennai in Pallikaranai dumpyard continuously for 36 hours with the team working hard. In a couple of weeks with the scenes of Vamsi Krishna running for 10 days, the entire shooting will be wrapped up. Vamsi describes his role to be a stylish sophisticated guy with evil actions rather than a rugged type of villain. He says that the script is a brilliant one and his role will be totally different from what he has done earlier. Vishal Chandrasekhar who scored tunes for Jil Jung Juk will be composing music for this flick too. The technical team consists of Bhaskar to handle the camera and Bhuvan Srinivasan as the editor.
