Praveen K.L., the editor of Superstar’s Kabali has shared few interesting details of the film in his recent interview. Speaking about the teaser which he edited and got over 2 million hits, he says that each and every cut in the teaser was handpicked by him. The dialogue where Rajini imitates Nambiar had been chosen as it would show the real character of Kabali in a line. Kabali is an emotional film rather than an action flick where the protagonist looks back at his 25 years of life. So the editing works are kept simple and straight-forward with simple shots. The villain of the film are a gang named ‘43O’ who return from the jail seeking revenge against Kabali after 25 years. The rest of the story goes as how Kabali manages against them single handedly. The main villain is Winston Chao from Taiwan who has done action sequences excellently. Totally the movie is about the evolution of a great don from being a commoner. It is because of this special kind of script that has been selectively chosen by Rajanikanth from Ranjith. And as a treat for his fans, there is a complete episode of young Kabali in the Mullum Malarum getup. The music album composed by Santhosh Narayanan and has 5 songs among them 4 has visuals. There is an introduction song for Superstar as well as a love song for him. The audio launch will take place on June 11, in the weekend after the actor had returned from US holidays. The duration of the film would be 2 hours 30 minutes and is slated to hit the screens on July 1.
