Actor Suriya who gave a terrific comeback through his movie 24 has expressed his sincere thanks to all the media houses and friends. He along with his wife Jyothika and children are out of Country for a short vacation and have planned to return to chennai before the 16th of may. But due to some unavoidable reasons his return plan has been cancelled and the actor has registered his apologies for not able to cast his vote. Suriya along with Cricketer Ravichandar Ashwin were part of the 100% campaign which urged and stressed the importance of voting among the people. But the irony is that the actor itself has missed the opportunity to vote which is the main reason behind his grief and worry. All the other options such as voting through mail or post has also been ruled out according to him. The actor has also asked the people to forgive him and understand his situation.
