Vikram Kumar’s directorial 24 has been doing good business at the box office with the family audiences arriving on more numbers to the theatres. Recently the promotional idea of giving free watch has also boosted its success rate to say. With this happy news, the team has announced to make a sequel to the sci-fi thriller. But now there are few other reports rounding that it will not be a sequel as such, but a prequel as announced by the director. In a press meet at Hyderabad, Vikram Kumar revealed that after finishing his commitments with Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu, he will come back again to Kollywood with the prequel on cards. He also shared that there are many unanswered questions left open in the film 24. Why Athreya needs the watch so bad, reason behind the quarrel between the brothers and the rising of Athreya will all be witnessed in this part. The scripting is almost done by the director already. Meanwhile he is set to make a medical thriller with Allu Arjun next which is likely to run on floors in a couple of months.
